Sam Ward, GB & England Hockey superstar, spent the afternoon at Hoe Bridge with Year 5 & 6 girls and Year 6, 7 & 8 boys.
During his masterclasses, he tested the abilities of the children, linked training environments and skills to the highest levels of performance and inspired all with his recollections from numerous Olympic Games. This was a fitting time to welcome Sam to Hoe Bridge as we begin the term with our new hockey goals and pitch barriers in place and looking superb.
