At Hoe Bridge School, the Nursery years lay the foundations for a lifelong love of learning. From a child’s very first days, specialist teachers place equal value on emotional security, exploration and independence, recognising that confidence is built when children feel known, safe and encouraged to try for themselves.
Hoe Bridge School understands the practical needs of families. The nursery offers both term-time-only (on the Hoe Bridge School site) and full-year-round provision (at the Greenfield School site), providing flexibility without compromising educational quality or continuity of care.
Greenfield Little School Nursery offers a nurturing, year-round environment where children thrive under the care of our dedicated, skilled, and loving team. Every child is supported as they grow, learn, and explore through play in a safe and inspiring setting.
Both years of Nursery – which we call Twigs and Acorns – share an open-plan classroom with adjoining outdoor play area. Here, the children are closely guided to develop their knowledge, hunger for learning and life skills, true to our philosophy of child-led learning. They are continuously monitored and their skills, interests and needs tracked. Children benefit considerably from the unusually low staff to child ratio in both years.
Greenfield Little School offers year-round care to all children aged 6 months to 4+ years, preparing them to transition into Reception in the September prior to their fifth birthday.
