Senior Creative Arts

Our Senior Creative Arts represent far more than a standard curriculum, and many subjects may be chosen as GCSE options.

The Only Limit is their Imagination

Creative Arts

Art and Design & Technology have been grouped into one department, acknowledging the symbiotic relationship between both disciplines. Our pupils are constantly challenged to be creative and push themselves to experiment with new techniques and materials … and never fail to amaze and inspire their teaching staff. Regular workshops, design-and-build projects and trips provide inspiration and enrichment.

Drama thrives at Hoe Bridge, playing a key role in social and personal development, offering a creative environment and safe space in which to develop skills, self-esteem and confidence. Our purpose built, superbly equipped facilities enable ample opportunity for both performing and developing talents behind the scenes. We have also introduced the unique Scholars’ Programme to nurture those pupils with the most talent and potential.

Pupils who play music are equally at home with all genres and enjoy not only an impressive range of facilities, including a dedicated Computer Music Suite, but the experience and skills of our passionate teaching staff.

Regular cross curricular creative projects harness the talent and creativity of all Creative Arts pupils, culminating in themed performances which feed into GCSE work.
