On Tuesday 17 October, Year 4 had a fantastic trip to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The day started with a Harbour Tour where they saw some of Britain’s modern frigates, destroyers and helicopter carriers, as well as historic buildings. They then visited HMS Victory, Nelson’s famous flag ship from the Battle of Trafalgar. They finished their day with a visit to Action Stations, which includes an 8.4 meter high-tech interactive indoor climbing tower, a series of physical challenges, simulators and technological experiments to gain the modern naval experience!
