Pre Prep Kids

Admissions Process

We will support you throughout the admissions process and look forward to welcoming you to the Hoe Bridge family.

Below outlines the admissions process:

Hoe Bridge has also recently announced that they will be opening Woking's first independent senior school. This will allow girls and boys an outstanding education on one site from Nursery to Year 11 when GCSEs are taken. This option is available for children in or joining Year 6 and below in September 2022.

Children can join our Nursery in the September after they turn 2 years old and then our main intakes are at Reception, Year 3, 7 and 9. Though children usually join at the start of the academic year in September we have rolling admissions throughout the year as long as space is available. Please contact admissions to discuss your family needs and check whether space is available on 01483 227909.

To register your child for a place at Hoe Bridge School you can complete our online registration form and fee by clicking on the below button.

Playsessions

Children joining our Nursery and Reception classes visit Hoe Bridge for playsessions in the autumn and spring term in the academic year before they join to meet our teaching staff and make new friends.

Pre-Prep Moving On Afternoon

New children and parents from Nursery to Year 2 join us for Moving On Afternoon in the summer term. Children visit their new classrooms, meet their new teacher and any new classmates. Refreshments are served in the hall for new parents and this is a good opportunity to meet other parents new to the school, as well as parents currently on our Parents’ Circle. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have and our second hand uniform store is open.

Prep and Senior Taster Day

New children joining Year 3 and above are invited for a Prep Taster Day in the summer term ensuring they are well prepared for September. Children experience a variety of lessons and meet Prep staff including their new form teacher. There is an information evening during the summer term for parents with children joining Prep. This will be an opportunity for our Headmaster to explain more about life in the Prep department and for you to meet your child’s form teacher and to ask any questions you may have.

On your child’s first day at school we are all on hand to ensure a smooth transition and an exciting start to your time at Hoe Bridge.

Before October half term we host information and parent evenings for each of our year groups, giving you an update on how your child has settled and the plans and goals for the coming term.

To enquire about the availability of places, or more information we would love to talk to you. Please contact the admissions team on 01483 227909 or click below and complete our enquiry form.
