Year 3 Maths Challenge

Last week, four of our Year 3 pupils took part in the Halstead School Maths Challenge. Aya Magee, Joshua Grigg, Adam Siddeeq and Sebastian Harrower had to answer 20 mental arithmetic questions, use their special skills to copy and complete patterns using 16 different shapes and finish a maths relay. They worked in pairs throughout the afternoon and their scores were totalled to give an overall score. They eventually came second out of the six schools who took part, so well done to the four of them.
