Early Years Free Entitlement

Working in partnership with Surrey County Council, Hoe Bridge School offers both the Universal 15 hours and the Extended 30 hours Early Years Free Entitlement (EYFS) for pupils in our Nursery and Reception years. Eligibility starts from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday and ends from the start of the term after your child’s 5th birthday.

Surrey County Council require an updated declaration form to be completed prior to the start of each term. Our admissions office contact our families with details on how to complete the declaration form each term. For all claimants of “extended” EYFE, your Eligibility Code must be validated every three months and HMRC will send you a reminder to do this.

Universal 15 Hours EYFS

All the above children are entitled to the Universal 15 hours EYFE. Three hours per day is applied between the daily attendance times of 9.00am to 12.00pm. If you have previously used another childcare provider, your bill may need to be adjusted to reflect any reduction in EYFE funding received by the school from Surrey County Council.

Extended 30 Hours EYFS

Where both parents are working and you meet certain income criteria, you will be eligible for Extended 30 hours EYFE. Children must be full time with us to claim the Extended 30 hours EFYE. Six hours per day is applied between 9.00am and 3.00pm.
