Religious Education

We live in a wonderful, diverse world-full of puzzling questions ! 

At Hoe Bridge Pre-Prep our children are led to develop a sense of wonder about the world.  We encourage our children to ask and discuss those tricky questions! In this way we lead them to begin to understand the importance and value of religion and belief. Through our RE teaching children at Hoe Bridge identify what is important to them and others. They begin to reflect on how spiritual and moral values relate to their own behaviour. While our school is founded on Christian beliefs and principles we believe it is important that children at Hoe Bridge explore different beliefs too.

We teach RE at Hoe Bridge in a variety of ways, including stories, daily assemblies (often with guests), handling of artefacts, visits, drama and weekly lessons – and of course - we all enjoy a good festival!
