These are just a snap-shot of the daily activities at our school where we use ICT as such a powerful tool in learning.

In the Pre-Prep the teaching and provision for ICT is embraced as an essential area of the curriculum. You only have to think of your own daily tasks to see that the ability to use ICT effectively is a vital life skill in modern society. From their first days at school our youngest children in the Foundation Stage are captivated by the dynamic and stimulating learning opportunities that can be explored through ICT. We strive to ensure our curriculum is creative and inspiring, with ICT fully embedded within it. Our aim is for our children to become discerning and autonomous users of ICT, who have the key skills and confidence to embrace its full potential in both their learning and everyday lives. All children in the Pre-Prep have a weekly lesson in our well-equipped suite and every classroom has its own interactive whiteboard and networked computer.  In addition to this, Year 2 children also have a weekly lesson in one of the two dedicated ICT suites at the Prep school.

In the world of ICT things move very quickly and the children certainly keep us on our toes however providing them with the latest equipment and programmes ensures we manage to be one step ahead of them!
