From our Nursery to Year 2, Mathematics is fun in the Pre-Prep! Our children are challenged to think in a carefully planned blend of approaches that direct their learning.

Much emphasis is placed on practical activities, children are encouraged to discuss and share their thinking with others, they often work outside. In this way, basic skills, concepts and processes are learnt in an exciting and memorable way. We fully recognise the importance of mathematics in equipping our children with a uniquely powerful set of tools with which to understand the world.

Less able children are quickly identified and receive early support in small groups. Our expectations are high and more able children are supported to achieve their full potential. In Years 1 and 2 children are setted for some maths lessons. In short at Hoe Bridge Pre-Prep.
