Design and Technology

The Design and Technology department is well established at Hoe Bridge and offers a comprehensive specialist provision.

The curriculum develops practical and design skills, which lead into increasingly more complex tasks. The work involves a variety of media and processes using traditional materials through to electronics and computer-aided design and manufacture.

The popularity of this subject has given rise to two after school clubs where children are encouraged to pursue their own design interests.
