Special Needs

We wish to give all children equal access to the school curriculum as appropriate to their needs. The school has a designated Special Needs Co-ordinator who oversees the access arrangements and organises learning support for children who have individual needs. This ranges from the provision of small group sessions and in-class support, to individual tuition from visiting specialists.

In meeting each child’s individual needs in a practical, flexible, positive and effective manner, and where necessary enlisting the expertise of relevant professional bodies, our aim is to see that pupils with Special Needs benefit as fully as possible from their integration and education at Hoe Bridge.
