Religious Studies

In Religious Studies we aim to help the children understand the values of society as demonstrated in diverse cultures and belief systems.

The syllabus largely focuses on Judeo-Christian teaching, but the practices and beliefs of other religions are also studied.

The children are encouraged to respect other cultures and to discuss the beliefs and values can be applied to contemporary issues in our modern society. This involves reflective and critical thinking and leads the children towards the spiritual side of their nature.
